Whole-Brain Parenting Workshop

(based on The Whole Brain Childby Drs. Dan Siegel & Tina Payne Bryson)

TWO Saturdays

10a.m-1p.m.

March 31 & April 7

Pre-Registration Required

located at

Silicon Valley Accounting Solutions,

5201 Great America Pkwy #229, Santa Clara

The best investment you can make in your child's future isn't classes or coaches or schools. It's their relationship with you, their parent. If you're ready to invest in that relationship, this is the workshop* for you!

Learn 12 specific strategies to:

  • Connect more deeply with your child(ren) on a daily basis

  • Help your child overcome anxiety/shyness

  • Create the family memories you want

  • Deal more effectively with tantrums

  • Teach empathy and compassion

  • Rise to challenges more playfully and effectively

Kids don't come with an instruction manual, but if they did...it would include this book!

Join us in this interactive, fun, 6-hour workshop (two 3-hour sessions), where we will explore the neurology of parenting. Based upon the work of The Whole Brain Child book and companion workbook**, participants will dive deep into their parenting practices, gaining deeper insight into what is happening with their child(ren)'s brain, and leave with several solutions to common problems. The workshop will use multiple modes of learning, including lecture, self-reflection and writing, pair work, and dramatic play to prepare their own brains to make the changes in their families they want to make.

Cost is $150 in advance; $175 at the door. (Parenting partners are only $20.) Pre-registration is required. Also, please note that you are signing up for TWO Saturday classes, BOTH March 31 & April 7--the registration website doesn't make that very clear.

If you are utilizing a discount, please choose the "pay later" option. Let me know the discount at the door and I can collect payment at that time.

*This workshop is specifically designed for parents with children birth through ten.

**The Whole Brain Child book and workbook are not required, but STRONGLY encouraged--they will make your overall experience much deeper.
